Phantom Fundraiser

Washington PTA's 12th Annual
Phantom Fundraiser
Now until October 30, 2009

What is the Phantom Fundraiser?

Phantom Fundraiser is the main fundraising activity operated by Washington PTA. It does not require our students to sell over-priced merchandise to friends, family, or strangers. We simply ask our friends and families to give money directly to the PTA. All of the money collected goes to our school’s PTA and 100% of each donation is tax deductible.

Why does the PTA raise money?

Washington PTA raises money so that it can provide our children and their teachers with things not paid for by the Wake County school system. Things like cultural arts performances, new books for the Media Center, and programs such as Science Fair.

Who can donate?

Anyone who would like to support our school—friends, family members (near and far), neighbors, and employers (details on Corporate Matching Gifts page).

How big are the donations?

Typical donations range in amount from $25–$300, but we have received donations of $1 and some as large as $1,000. This year our goal is to raise $25 per student, although no amount is ever too big or too small!

How can my family and friends donate?

Fill out a Phantom Fundraiser donation card and send it, with a donation, to school through the mail or in your child’s Monday folder.

Wow! Class rewards

Classes in every grade will have the opportunity to earn rewards when they reach various fundraising goals. See the Class Rewards Information for details.
