How would your life differ if you couldn’t read with ease and fluency?

If you have 30 minutes per week to build a relationship with a child and help him or her learn to read, then Washington has a child who needs you.

The Washington Weekly Readers program provides training plus all of the supplies you will need for tutoring a first or second grader in reading. You provide the caring commitment and 30 minutes per week to help a child achieve! Weekly Readers can volunteer at any time or day of the week, but we have a special need for tutors the last hour of the school day on Fridays.

This is a wonderful opportunity to make a difference in a child’s life and maybe yours at the same time!
