If you recycle paper you will be saving trees. Paper is made out of trees and if you waste paper you will be wasting a tree. You will also be wasting oxygen in the world. Trees produce oxygen and if you waste paper you will waste oxygen. Recycling is important because people make paper, cans, bottles, plastic and other stuff like that. If you recycle cans and bottles they only have to clean them out and put whatever drink that was in that container and put it back in. Sometimes they just melt down the container to make new ones.

At our school we recycle cans, bottles, paper and other things like that. We recycle styrofoam trays that we put our food on if you buy lunch. When we are finished eatting we dump our leftovers in the trash and then we put the styrofoam trays in the recycling bin. I think recycling is really good for the world.

This year we have an Energy Club and they meet every Thursday at 8:00 am.
